Hercules is a new, innovative 3D printing resin line that puts YOU in control and distinguishes itself from any other standard resin with several impressive features that are usually exclusive to industrial-grade resins.

Skin safety

No resins should be handled in its uncured liquid state without proper PPE. Legacy resins remain hazardous for prolonged contact with skin after post curing because of unreacted monomers and initiators. Hercules, made possible by 3DRS Thermal Technology, is a next generation resin capable of achieving a fully-cured state. Once fully cured, Hercules is safe for prolonged contact with skin. Full post curing requires 1 hour of bake time at 250F minimum. Non-cytotoxicity results were established by Nelson Labs, a Soetera Health Company. A PDF copy of the results are available via link in the FAQ. 

How is all that possible?

The answer is thermal curing, also referred to as post-baking. Fine-tune your resins’ performance by thermally post-curing parts at your desired time and temperature. We’ve optimized three post-cure schedules to achieve different property profiles:

• 10 min at 405nm light cure only – General purpose: high elongation, moderate stiffness and decent strength(Non-skin-safe schedule)
• 250°F for 1 hour – Exceptional elongation with increased strength. (Skin-safe schedule)
• 275°F for 1 hour – Maximum stiffness, moderate elongation with exceptional strength. (Skin-safe schedule)
• For best results we suggest 10 min at 405nm light cure first for all schedules.
